Inspection & Quality

Inspection Comes Before Purchase

The biggest risk in importing a used vehicle sight-unseen is that the unit does not match its listing. Advanced Koryo inspects the vehicle in Korea before the purchase is completed, not after. If it fails, we do not buy it.

What an Inspection Covers

The scope for your order is confirmed with you in writing beforehand, so you know exactly what was checked and what was not. A full inspection covers:

Documentation

  • Vehicle identification number verified against the registration document
  • Ownership and lien status
  • Registration history and recorded mileage
  • Accident and insurance repair history where available on the Korean record

Exterior

  • Panel alignment and evidence of repaint or repair
  • Frame and structural condition
  • Glass, lights, and trim
  • Tyre condition

Mechanical

  • Cold start behaviour and idle
  • Engine bay condition, leaks, and fluid state
  • Transmission engagement and shift quality
  • Brakes, suspension, and steering

Interior & Electronics

  • Wear consistent with stated mileage
  • Air conditioning and climate control
  • Infotainment and driver assistance systems
  • Signs of water ingress or flood damage

What You Receive

A dated report with photographs of the actual unit, including any faults found. We document what is wrong as well as what is right. A report that lists no faults on a used vehicle is not a good report, it is an incomplete one.

If a Vehicle Fails

Your deposit stays against your order and we return to the shortlist. You are not pushed to accept a unit that did not pass.

Standalone Inspection Service

If you have already found a vehicle in Korea through another channel, we can inspect and photograph that unit as a separate paid service before you commit.
