ADVANCED KORYO · INTEGRITY BEYOND BORDERS

How do we protect your rights when you buy a car from Korea?

Trust is not built on promises alone. At Advanced Koryo we make clear who you are dealing with, when you pay, how the car is approved, and which documents you receive throughout the purchase and export.

5 points that show how we protect your rights

1Officially registered companies

We have a business registered in South Korea and a business registered in Saudi Arabia. You can ask for the registration details and verify them through the official authorities.

2A clear contracting party

The quotation and contract state the seller's legal name, the party providing the services, the party authorised to receive payments, and each party's responsibility.

3No purchase without your approval

Before a specific car is bought, we set out its available information, its price and the terms of the deal, and we ask for your documented approval before going ahead.

4Documented payments

Payments are directed to approved business accounts or official payment channels, the purpose of each payment is recorded, and you receive a receipt or invoice suitable to the transaction.

5Follow-up and export documents

Depending on the agreed service, we give you inspection information, purchase and shipping updates, and the export and shipping documents that are available and required for the transaction.

Verify for yourself before you decide: you can ask for proof of company registration, a sample of the contract and the financial offer, and the payment method details before committing to a purchase.

How does a car purchase work?

  1. Request and assessment: we review your requirements and budget and define the scope of service.
  2. Offer and review: we set out the available options, the price and the inspection, depending on the package.
  3. Approval and payment: you approve the car and the costs, then payment is made through the official party named in the documents.
  4. Purchase and export: we arrange the purchase, shipping, documentation and follow-up as agreed.

Who receives the money? Who sells the car?

We have two companies and two business bank accounts, one in Saudi Arabia and one in South Korea. Having two companies does not mean each company plays the same role in every transaction.

  • The quotation or contract names the company that sells and exports the car.
  • If local payment in Saudi Arabia is offered, the receiving company and its capacity in receiving the amount will be stated in the transaction documents.
  • Do not rely on any payment instructions sent from a personal account or that do not match the official documents of your request.
  • Currency, exchange rate and transfer fees may affect the total cost; these items are set out in the offer where they apply.
Before you transfer: check that the bank beneficiary name matches the approved collecting party in your request documents, and ask for a written explanation if you find a difference. Our bank account details are sent only from the official number +82 10-7229-0580.

Which documents can you ask for?

Company proof

Saudi commercial registration details, the Korean business registration certificate or corporate registry extract, and official contact details, to the extent appropriate for verification.

Before buying the car

The price quotation, car details and chassis number (VIN) once identified, the available information and inspections, and the payment, shipping and cancellation terms.

After buying the car

The invoice and supporting purchase documents depending on the type of transaction, and order status updates in line with the contracted service.

At export and shipping

Export documents from Korea, the bill of lading once issued, and the documents available for customs clearance and receipt.

Documents may differ depending on the vehicle's status, the shipping terms, the destination country and regulatory requirements.

Service fees, refunds and cancellation

We offer review, search and selection services, and the service page or quotation sets out the approved fees before you pay. Once a car is purchased with your approval, the service fee is deducted from the final car invoice.

  • Before your car search starts: full refund.
  • After the search starts: $100 is deducted per working day, up to the full fee.
  • Once the car is purchased: the service fee is deducted from the final car invoice.
  • Auction deposit: if you do not win and request a refund, a 20% service fee is deducted.
  • Estimated timeline: about 1 week to find and secure the car and 3 days for export, then sea shipping.
A consumer's mandatory rights are not waived by any text on this page. For contractual details, refer to the contract and the approved offer for your request.

Shipping and delivery

The quotation states the destination port, the services included and estimated costs where they exist. Vessel and arrival dates are estimates and may change because of the carrier, ports or procedures.

  • Shipment insurance is optional and not included by default.
  • Customs clearance and local fees are not included unless the quotation says so.
  • We are not responsible for vehicle damage during shipping. Claims go to the shipping company or your own insurer.

Receipt of the vehicle can be arranged through our commercial partner showroom in Jeddah when that option is agreed. The showroom is not a branch owned by Advanced Koryo.

Frequently asked questions before you pay

Can I transfer to the Saudi account?

This option may be available for some transactions. Before transferring, you will receive the official receiving party's name, the company's capacity in the transaction, and the approved payment instructions under the quotation or contract.

How do I know the car is the one I approved?

The chassis number (VIN), specifications and available information are matched against the approved car before purchase, within the agreed inspection and documentation scope. No inspection can guarantee the discovery of all hidden or future defects.

Does paying a service fee mean the car is reserved?

No. A vehicle is not reserved or purchased simply because a review or search fee was paid. Availability must be confirmed, the price approved, the purchase amount available and the seller must accept the transaction.

What if shipping is delayed?

We provide follow-up updates as agreed. Dates may change because of the carrier, ports or procedures. Contractual and legal rights remain applicable.

How do I make a complaint or request a document?

Contact us through our official channels with your order number and details: email info@mykoryo.com or WhatsApp +82 10 7229 0580.

Buy knowing your steps and your rights

Ask us about official registration, the contract, and the payment, inspection and shipping terms before you decide. We prefer a clear deal from the start over promises that cannot be verified.
